I think I've mentioned it before but I've got sort of a thing for purple clothes. Not the bright purple kind, but darker, more full shades of purple. In my opinion it's a really great accent color that compliments a lot of other ones. So, it's pretty much a no-brainer that this cardigan from Dries Van Noten is right up my alley. It's a thinly knitted cardigan in a soft cotton/alpaca mix. Unlike most cardigans the fit isn't bulky but rather slim and a bit longer which I appreciate. The belt is also a nice detail that gives this piece an extra dose of that elegance the name alludes to.
