Maison Martin Margiela has been going through some turbulent times lately. Earlier this fall the house finally confirmed what has been rumoured for a long time; that the labels engimatic eponymous founder has left as the creative director. Maison Martin Margiela now faces some interesting times ahead. Who will take over as designer? What direction will they take? The question are many for the brand and it's many avid followers. 

The Business Of Fashion takes on the subject from a very interesting point-of-view comparing the label to a cult to discuss how the transition could have been handled better and providing some pointers for the future.
